Our Goal is to help horse owners gain a better understanding of their
horses and their riding abilities to make horse ownership a more positive
experience.

I incorporate methods used by many of the top trainers in the country as
well as some that are not as well known. I do not believe that there is only
one correct method but there is only one correct result. Horses are like
people in that they are all different in how they learn, their abilities, their
personalities and temperament. Taking these things into account I use the
method that provides the least amount of pressure to achieve the desired
result.
About Us
Recently I have been training Mustangs
and competing in the Mustang Make Over
Competitions.

The competitions are a joint effort
between the BLM and the Mustang
Heritage Foundation. Trainers are
selected from around the country that
demonstrate the necessary skills needed
to gentle and train a wild mustang. They
are then assigned a mustang and have
90 to 100 days to gentle and train their
mustang in preparation for the
competition. The mustangs are judged
on; body conditioning, an in hand trail
course and a horse course which
incorporates obstacles and skills found in
everyday riding. The horses that score in
the top ten go on to compete in the finals
which is a no holds barred freestyle
exhibition. All of the horses are then put
up for adoption. The Mustang Make
Overs have enjoyed a 100% adoption
rate.
Bella - First Day at Home
I grew up in Tucson Arizona where I trained my own horses for many
years for Team Roping, Team Penning and just riding out in the Catalina
Mountains and Sonoran Desert. I am now a 21 year resident of Las Vegas
Nevada where I live with my wife, Kim, and our three children at our
training facility on the edge of town.
